Z10 Games Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how developer Z (hereinafter "we" or "the developer") handles your personal information when you download, install, and use the Z10Games client software (hereinafter "the Software"). The Software is a game-assistance client running on Windows, designed with the principle of "local-first, minimal data interaction".
Please read this policy before installing or using the Software. The Software is a click-to-agree product; by installing or using it you are deemed to have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, stop using the Software immediately and uninstall it.
This policy is read together with the Z10 Games End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of any inconsistency, the EULA shall prevail.
Article 1 Information We Collect
Our basic principle is: the non-collection and non-upload described here is limited to the client’s local runtime; the Software does not collect or upload any of your personal information.
1.1 What We Do Not Collect
The Software will not collect, read, or upload any of the following information:
- Your game account, password, token, or any login credentials from any game publisher;
- Your payment information, bank card numbers, or other financial information;
- Your real name, phone number, home address, email, or other identity information;
- Other personal files or documents stored on your computer.
1.2 We Do Not Read Game Data Content
The Software modifies the game’s runtime memory or data on your local computer, which is a local intervention in the game program’s runtime state. This process is completed entirely on your device; the relevant data is not extracted, uploaded, or transmitted externally.
1.3 The Software Contains No Upload Module
The Software does not contain any function to upload your personal information, usage behavior, or device information to the developer’s servers, and does not embed any telemetry, user-behavior tracking, or automatic crash-reporting mechanism.
1.4 Official Website Voting Feature: The official website provides voting for game-support intent. This feature only records a single "+1" count for the option you click, and does not collect or associate any personal information (such as account, device identifier, IP address, etc.).
Article 2 Network Interaction with Our Servers
The only network interaction between the Software and the developer’s servers is downloading configuration information (e.g., the supported cheat list, version-verification data) from the server at startup. This is a one-way "download", detailed below:
2.1 Content Downloaded: Only the configuration data required for the Software to run; it does not include any of your personal information.
2.2 Content Uploaded: None. During this process the Software does not send your game account, device identifier, or personal data to the server.
2.3 Connection Method: The connection is initiated on demand only when the Software starts; it does not persist or listen in the background.
Article 3 How We Use Information
Since we do not collect any of your personal information in principle (see Articles 1 and 2), we will not use your personal information for any commercial analysis, advertising, or user profiling.
If in the future we plan to add any feature that collects or uploads information (e.g., optional crash-log reporting), we will obtain your separate explicit consent through a pop-up or other prominent means before implementing it, and will update this policy.
Article 4 Sharing and Third Parties
4.1 We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party.
4.2 The Software may contain third-party open-source components, libraries, or technologies (e.g., dynamic assembly, image processing), governed by their respective open-source licenses. These components are used only for local functionality within the Software and do not collect or upload your personal information on our behalf. The relevant open-source license texts are provided with the Software in an "Open Source Notices / Third-Party Licenses" file.
4.3 The Software does not contain any third-party advertising SDK or analytics SDK.
Article 5 Data Storage and Security
5.1 The Software primarily runs on your local device’s computing and storage resources and does not write your personal information to the developer’s servers.
5.2 Configuration, cache, and other data generated locally are stored in the Software’s working directory on your device. You can completely remove this local data by uninstalling the Software and deleting its working directory.
5.3 We recommend that after using the Software on a public or shared computer, you uninstall it and clean up the relevant directories promptly to prevent local data from being accessed by others.
Article 6 Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Software is a desktop client program and does not use website cookies, web tracking pixels, or similar browser tracking technologies.
Article 7 Protection of Minors
The Software is primarily intended for adult gamers. If you are under 18, you must use it with the consent of a guardian. We do not actively collect personal information from minors; if a guardian finds that a minor has used the Software without consent, they may contact us via the Article 9 contact information to resolve the matter.
Article 8 Your Rights
In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations, you have rights such as the right to know and the right to decide regarding the processing of your personal information. Since the Software does not collect any of your personal information in principle (see Articles 1 and 2), you generally do not need to exercise the above rights to protect your information.
If you have any questions about information processing, or believe the Software engages in collection beyond the description of this policy, you may contact us via the Article 9 contact information, and we will verify and respond within a reasonable time.
Article 9 Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The updated policy takes effect upon release of a new version of the Software, an announcement on the official website, or an in-software notice. Your continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the updates, stop using and uninstall the Software.
